Greeting from Director of Ho Chi Minh City Office
On August 6. 2009, the University of Tsukuba opened representative office in HCMC as the third overseas office of our university. Ho Chi Minh City office aims to expand our international collaborative activities, provide more educational opportunities to Vietnamese students and young researchers, and support Japanese students, researchers to continue their researching activities or apply their knowledge to the work at agreed clinical facilities in Vietnam.
The University of Tsukuba HCMC Office is not only a bridge of the link between University of Tsukuba and Vietnamese universities and organization in their international collaboration activities. We also have been supporting Vietnamese students and researchers by bring them opportunities to study and research in an advanced country, at one of leading universities in Japan. Besides that, we have been providing the support to other G-30 selected Japanese universities with their activities implementing in Vietnam in the framework of Global 30 program, a program supported by Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT) to attract 300,000 international students to Japanese universities by 2020.
A bilateral, mutual-benefit cooperation between Japanese and Vietnamese universities are what we are aiming at. Let’s contact with us and let us support you during your way to your future achievement.
Kazuya Morikawa (Prof.,Dr.).
Director of Ho Chi Minh City Office
